The Role:

- Test Case Design & Execution: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts based on requirements and design specifications. Execute functional, exploratory, usability, regression, and performance testing.

- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track issues, ensuring their resolution through root cause analysis. Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely bug fixes and re-testing.

- Project Driven: Participate in ongoing project work and take the lead on testing of Workday integration. Provide recommendations for the project as needed.

- Automation Development: Develop and maintain robust automated test suites to enhance test efficiency and accuracy. Identify test cases suitable for automation and contribute to the automation testing roadmap.

The Profile:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.

- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.

- Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g. Postman, REST-assured) and knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Java) for test development.

- Experience with Workday HCM functional/technical testing would be an added advantage.

- Superior written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work with multiple business and Tech teams to accomplish common end goals.

Key Responsibilities:

•Assist in developing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts to ensure software quality

•Help identify, document, and track bugs and issues to resolution

•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products

•Participate in agile development activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, and sprint retrospectives

•Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by identifying areas for improvement and suggesting new tools and methodologies

•Maintain and update test plans and test cases based on changing requirements and software updates

•Provide feedback and suggestions for product enhancements and improvements

Requirements:

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

•Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools

•Some experience or coursework in manual and automated testing

•Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA is a plus

•Understanding of agile development methodologies

•Strong written and verbal communication skills

•Passionate about software quality and eager to learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
