Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static & Rotating)—2 Positions Available

A leading provider of industrial services in the oil & gas sector is looking for 2 senior mechanical engineers to join their team in Doha. One position is for static and the other for rotating engineering. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-impact projects in a dynamic environment!

⭐ Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static & Rotating) – 2 Positions

📍 Location: Doha, Qatar

💰 Salary: QAR 18 000 (Full Package)

✔️ Reports to: Discipline Lead Engineer and Discipline Manager

🕒 Job Type: Full-time, 6-Month Contract (Extendable)

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Report to Discipline lead Engineer and Discipline Manager, taking responsibility for mechanical engineering work as per project scope.

✔️ Perform conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering based on project requirements, client specifications, and design codes.

✔️ Prepare essential technical documents, including Mechanical Data Sheets, Equipment Specifications, Material Requisition, TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation), VDR (Vendor Document Review), and Design Calculations (API 650, API 620, ASME Sec VIII).

✔️ Design GAD, nozzle orientation drawings, and fabrication drawings for both static and rotating equipment.

✔️ Attend client progress reviews, design reviews, and clarification meetings.

✔️ Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.

✔️ Working knowledge of SHELL DEP standards (preferred).

Qualifications:

✔️ 12+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly with major contractors or consultants.

✔️ Professional degree in Mechanical Engineering.

✔️ Strong experience in mechanical design and analysis software.

✔️ Expertise in design codes (API 650, API 620, ASME Sec VIII) and regional project execution in Qatar (preferred).

✔️ SHELL DEP knowledge is a plus.
